Temasek Centre for Problem-Based Learning was set up in 1999 as
a Centre of Excellence.
Vision:
To be a Centre of Excellence in the development and research of
Problem-based Learning.
Mission:
To provide PBL training and to develop strategic projects to
enhance the knowledge and practice
of PBL.
Achievements:

Asia-Pacific Conference on PBL
in 2000.

Learning: Educational Innovation
Across Disciplines" in 2000.

Learning: New Directions and
Approaches" in 2005.
TP was awarded the Enterprise Challenge (Innovation Award), Prime
Minister's Office, for piloting PBL
in 2001. TP was also awarded the
Enterprise Challenge Shield in
November 2003 for the project on PBL
which has created the highest new
value to the public service.
The
TP PBL Portal provides
PBL communities of practitioners a
platform to share best practices,
engage in collaborative research
projects and keep abreast of the
latest trends and developments in
PBL.
