Learning how to learn has become an important life skill in this ever-evolving knowledge-based economy.

IIT School has adopted PBL as one of the key pedagogical strategies in helping our students develop this crucial skill for learning, as central to the enquiry-based PBL methodology is the lifelong skill of self-directed learning.

In guiding our students along the various processes of acquiring knowledge, our tutors are mindful of the need to help orientate our students towards a more independent mode of learning that is distinctly different from all their previous academic experiences. This involves helping the students to appreciate the process of learning, and not just the end-product, as they shift towards a more self-directed, and enquiry-based form of learning.

In so doing, our students acquire a deeper approach to learning. Not only that, our students get to develop and hone other important skills such as time and project management skills, research skills, as well as interpersonal and team skills.
