An appropriate PBL track for students in each diploma is identified with the assistance of the respective Course Manager, Section Head/s in consultation with staff and the School PBL Committee. Consideration would be given to the nature of the curriculum, nature of the subjects, comfort level of staff, continuity of the experience and stress level of students.

Related subjects would be identified and clustered providing a multidisciplinary and integrated approach. The initiative would be two-pronged in the development of content knowledge and process or transferable skills. Acquisition of skills such as problem solving skills, team-working skills, self-directed learning skills will be in line with Temasek Polytechnic Target Graduate Profile to produce graduates with character, competence and change readiness.
